Do you know when to file a Form 1099?
✅ If you hired an independent contractor for your business,
✅ Paid them $600 or more during the year
✅ Used direct deposit or cash (i.e. NOT electronic payment)
Don’t forget to file a 1099 at year end! The deadline for this is Jan 31.
